OH MY!!!
this show is really really FANTASTIC!!
i know..
i REJECTED this show from the start...
HOWEVER!!!
the ending song really caught my attention..
It is called : JIANG HU XIAO
by people like Chou Hua Jian, Huang Xiao Ming, Hu Ju etc...
it is REALLY melodious and soothing.. in minor key some more la!!

Just read the Chinese papers awhile ago, not the gossip papers, but the lian he zao bao.
i read only one small article from the China's section but i got me thinking.
Apparently, a number of men were held captive in this brick hole for 1 year plus.
They had to do free laborious work and werent given enough to eat.
Not only that, they werent given the chance to bathe AT ALL for that year and they cant even make fire during winter when they were cold.
Guess where what do they sleep on? Just a straw mat on the hard, cold and uneven bricked floor!!
I was shocked and disgusted to the core!!
I couldnt believe my eyes, it was totally beyond INHUMANITY.
But the best thing was, there were found only after a year of captivity.
8 of them went bonkers, they went crazy, they went insane..
BECAUSE OF THE DOINGS OF SOME MORE POWERFUL AND SELFISH AUTHORITY.

If your son was one of the deranged person, what will you do??
If your son was treated like an animal in captivity, what will you do??
If your son was made to do work like the POWs, what will you do??
If your son was one of them, WHAT WILL YOU DO??

Report to the authorities??
Report to the village chief??
Report to the police??
Or report to nobody??

there are many things in live where we do not see, hear, or experience.
This does not mean that they dont exist nor does ot mean that they can be turned a blind eye to.
But, what can we do to stop all this cruelty??
To animals and to humans.

we were busy saving the trees, the environment, the endangered species, the insects.
DID WE EVER WANT TO SAVE THE SUFFERING MANKIND??
be it those starving, those ill-treated, those deprived and those bullied people.
Did you ever though of saving them from cruelty too??
Did I ever want to save them??

I did not, because i dont know where to start from or where not to start from.

I am shallow and self-centred.

it was nt exactly as fun as the one i had with my family and with NUS people..

today, i am prepared to cut my long hair away!
i know, i sweared not to cut them off.
but, i seriously need a new style!
i need new hair cut to make myself more presentable and OF COURSE!! prettier.
so, i made a pact with EK today.

BOTH OF US WILL GO AND CUT OUR HAIR TOGETHER TODAY AFTER HIS WORK!!

oh my...
i plan to cut it short so that it is easier to maintain and i MIGHT colour my hair too.
now the question is, what kind of hairstyle should i cut and what colour should i colour?

here are some of the criteria and guidelines that i have:
1) short hair, around my neck

2) must be stylish and refreshing

3) must look very different from my present state *durh..*

4) hair colour should not be too exaggerating

5) hair colour must be soothing and attractive

6) the new hair cut must allow me to bewitch and allure people esp handsome males
on the street.
--> so that i can inviegle a free pass to get their numbers
--> not for own use anyway.
--> i can pass them to my friends and they can get.. you know!!

7) the new look will have to be able to ward off obtruder into our relationship
ESPECIALLY when EK goes for the Arts Camp.
--> i am being femininely gentlemenly to state obstruder

8) the new look must make me look slimmer *very important..*
--> dont want to look like some fat-ass with a lump of hair on my hair
--> gosh! that's a nightmare

9) the new look must land me better luck and fortune.

10) FINALLY!!
my new look must allow me to win TOTO alone!
--> so that i can pay my tuition fees.
--> so that i can pay for my piano fees and exam fees *damn expensive la!*
--> so that my parents can stop working and look after my troublesome BRODA
--> so that i pay off my parent's debt
*house loan, electricity and water bill, phone bills, bro's tuition fees*
*miscellaneous fees to that town council, wah!! so much!! *
*that's why i have to win that TOTO, alone. get it!*
