out with agnes and illya today..

alright!!
first up...
the three of us didnt make it to Sentosa..
want to know why?!!

BCOZ I SAID SO!!

dont get the wrong idea...
i said so bcoz the weather forecast told me to...
it was stated : there will be a thunderstorm in the late morning-early afternoon...
so.. we gave up the idea of going to the beach..
the only thing that we would gain from going to that beach is free washing of clothes, body and hair..
we like to do it in the comfort of our own house..
so..
SENTOSA!!!
MISSED...
but instead!!!
we went to LITTLE INDIA...

TO GET OUR EYE BROWS THREADED!!!
OH MY...
it was such a PAINFUL experience...

not that giving birth pain..
but...
it feels like plucking something out from you...*durh..*
the pain comes from the sound that you heard...
the plucking sound..
bcoz of the fact that i could hear it so CLEARLY...
i felt INTENSE pain on my brows..
poor me...

HOWEVER!!!
as the saying goes: NO PAIN, NO GAIN..
i endured it..for 5 mins i guess...
*felt like 5 trillion years though..*
i've got TRIMMED, SLIM AND THICK BROWS!!
not that bad though...

$5 for a pretty face...
$5 of pure torture...
$5 of holding on to the chair tightly..
$5 of kicking the walls...
not that bad at all huh?!!

anyway...
the bottomline is...i got a more refined face now...
nothing beats being goregous...

by the way, the three of us took pictures too...
using those neoprint machine of sort...
nice~~
will upload when i am freer..
*very busy now you know...*

alright!!
gonna go out to celebrate EK's Birthday..
*it's suppose to be tomorow... but we want to celebrate when the clock struck 12!! so exciting!!*
we are going to East Coast for our celebration...
i cant drink, so clubbing would be a waste of money for me..

will upload all those pictures of EK's presents...
so..for now!!
please wait patiently for those photos...

love ya guys!!

shopping spree today!!

alright..
first up!!!
GUESS HOW MUCH I'VE SPENT TODAY??!!!
this is the highest amount ever that i've spent on clothes...
A WHOOPING....$200!!!
i bought...
1) 2 shirts
-- one from TopShop -->
$30
--another one from Pull and Bear -->$20
2) a jumper
--from TopShop --> $60
3) a dress
--from Mulan at AMK hub -->
$40
4) a belt
(for Ek)
--from Levi's -->
$50
Total : $200...
*ermmm...all rounded up figures*

whoo-ha!
this is like the greatest amount that i've spent ever on a single day...just to buy clothings and stuffs...
by the way, i bought bottoms on yesterday's shopping trip to Bugis too...
ermmm...
1) a pair of shorts
-- from Dorothy Perkins -->
$25
2) a pair of skinny jeans
--from Bugis Village, one of those shops -->
$32
so, all in all, i have spent ...... $255 on attire!!!

what the hell!!!
that's like freakingly..scary la!
just 2 days in town after gym had caused my bank account money to shrink...
i think i am only left with 3/4 of the initial amount?!!
oh no..

that's the after effect of slimming down too...
but i am WILLING to SACRIFICE...my money.. in order to be prettier and..
you know..a woman's youth doesnt come by everyday..
we grow older by the seconds..
i have to capture my youth before it is too late...
moreover!!!
i can wear things that i couldnt in the past...
so..what?!!
money comes back..
anyway.. we cant bring our money with us when we die..
i cant bring them to the next stage...
so..
you know...spend..but not too much..
STOP WHEN IT IS TIME...
this is important...

anyway!!!
tml is EK's pre-birthday...
so...i will be staying out late with him tomorrow night...
Probably clubbing, i guess...

got lotsa surprises for him too!!
cant wait to see his guilty and awed expressions...
*guilty because he has NEVER done anything romantic for me BEFORE...*
**shit him..**

anyway..
that's all today...
will update on tomorrow's event..
BY THE WAY!!!
AGNES, ILLYA AND I WILL BE GOING TO SENTOSA TOMORROW...
*if the weather is fine..durh*
oh..cant wait...
so many things will happen tomorrow...
so busy!!!

alright!!
That's all!!

ok...fun day today..

HEY HEY!!
I AM IN A BLOGING MOOD TODAY!!

first of all, EK is official missing from my life for the next few days.
feel free to date me ok?!!
anyway.. went to Sentosa with EK today..
it was an impromptu decision and it was a good one..
after my piano lesson today, we were deciding on where to date...
but we ran out of ideas on where to chill...
so we just went into the Outram station and looked at the MRT/NEL map..
AND!!!
" let's go to Harbourfront!!"
that was EK's response..
welll, i replied...
"OH MY!!! you were just 1 sec faster than me!! i almost suggested Harbourfront!!"
*alright.. what so exciting about that anyway?!*

so... we travelled to Harbourfront by NEL..*oh gosh..i feel so stupid typing this line out..*
anyway, NEL is REALLY fast..
*it was not the 1st time i took NEL, fyi...*
from Outram to Harbourfront.. only..
1 MIN i think..
we just sat down and flirt-ed for 30 secs...
"Harbourfront Station. All passengers please alight. Thank you for travelling with SMRT"
fast man!!

anyway...
the weather was not too bad..
windy and cloudy and a little sinister...
however, we still went ahead to Sentosa...
want to guess what did we do??!!!

clever!!
WE WENT LUGE-ING!!!
*LUGE...is the name of the game..*
**not pronounced as LU-GI OK... it is...i am not sure too.. let's just call it lugi..cool name though**
anyway...

it costs $16 to take the skyline thing up to the LUGE station...3 times..
meaning to say, i had the chance to play the LUGE 3 times
enjoy the skyline view 3 times..
blow the cold wind 3 times...
trembled at the sight of the treetops 3 times...
held on to EK's hands 3 times bcoz i was kinda scared...
you know... very high ok!!

LUGE is actually this game that is like a go-kart at Escape..
except that..there is no engine, no accelerator and no need to go up hill...

PERSONAL STORY...
I had some bad experience at the Escape THEME park...
as you all should know...
i am not light and i am not small...
the go-kart at escape is small and faulty...
so, many years ago, i went to this theme park with my sis, bro and ek..
we agreed to have fun at the go-kart...
i paired up with my sister while ek paired with my bro...
so, we were very excited as it was like our virgin trial...
well, the queuing part was smooth and stuffs...
soon.. it was our turn...
oh my...
i had bSOOOOO many problems...

1) the kart was small, i had to LITERALLY squeeze my self INTO that pathetic kart.

2) i cant get my LEFT and RIGHT correct...
--you know..pressed the wrong pedal at wrong time...
-- depressed accelerator when i have to stop.. stupid man!

3) i think my heart almost stopped thumping when we came to the slope...
--that kart actually slowed down..*i know...durh right??!!*
--but my kart was MUCH MUCH slower than the rest of the karts!!

4) i prayed SOOOOO damn hard in my mind...
-- if the kart were to go-stun.. i will carry that kart with me and esape..
--firstly, it is really embarrassing
-- secondly, i will be laughed at FOREVER by my sister and brother...
-- thirdly, i am a person who values my own dignity...THROWING FACE IN
PUBLIC WOULD KILL ME ON THE SPOT OK..
alright...in the end, the kart went up smoothly...but slower than usual...
wondered who saw that scene..so MALU man!!

anyway...
back to Sentosa...

that LUGE game is actually very simple...
we just have to sit in the black skate-board with a handle that allows you to slow down and move forward...
no engine and stuffs...
because...
it is actually a slide-downwards-on-that-skateboard game...
it is kinda fun...
adrenline rush by the way when your skate moves at the max speed...
adrenline rush+free vibration for your excess fats..
at high speed... that skate would vibrate so much so that it makes you want to scratch...
VERY ITCHY..

anyway.. worth a try though...
interesting concept...
view from the top was FANTASTIC and ENGULFING...

anyway...
i went ice-skating yesterday with EK too...
gosh.. iSUCKED... big time...

i think i will have to consult AGNES on how to skate...
then go ice-skating...
ya...
my goodness...
i've wasted $11.50 just to torture myself at that super-uber-freaking cold freezer...
so cold that i broke out in cold sweat...
by the way, those kids at that FUJI PALACE....are MONSTERS!!!

THEY ARE RECKLESS AND RUDE AND LOUD AND IRRITATING AND...
THEY TAKE UP ALOT OF SPACE OK...

i cant skate, so i held onto to the side of the rim so that i wouldnt fall so ugly-ly...
guess what??!!
this CHINESE ANGMOH GIRL actually threw me a glance that spells...MOCKING...
argh!!
kids!!
she was smirking alright??!!
i could read her mind...
she said...
"OH FOR GOD'S SAKE! WHAT A SHAME!"
argh..kids...
so arrognant and snobbish!

anyway.. she wasnt skating properly too...
orbi..

alright...
kinda childish fighting over some lame things kids do...
they are just brave in another words...
cant be bothered with anything else except for their Barney and High5 show...

alright!!
thou shall not fight with kids anymore...pointless..
anyway!!!
will blog again soon i think...

that's it!!

Monday, July 23, 2007

alright, i am back!!

HEY HEY!!
OH MY....
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I BLOGGED???!!!
20DAYS AGO??!!!

time really flies..
for the past 2o days, many many happy and unhappy things happened...
quarrels with parents...
fights with Eng Keat...
choosing modules...
slimming program...
oh my..
i cant remember the rest....

but, fights with EK was really huge and unbearable...
we almost broke up, by the way...
as for the reason, i guess, i would just like to put it at the back of my mind..
dont like to remember stuffs that brings back agony...

on a happier note!!!
we are back together..
BETTER THAN BEFORE...
nothing can come inbetween us now...
we will marry each other in time to come..*oops..*

yup!!
hopefully this will come true..
dont laugh at me ok??!!
who doesnt want to settle down and start a family?!

anyway...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...
1) Denise
2) Jing Yi
3) Qun Bao
and of course all the julyers that i've left out...

ok...
i went to watch Harry Potter at AMK Hub...
my my...
the cinema is GOOD!!
spacious leggies...
red and well-cushioned seats...
the first row was kinda far from the screen---> no straining on the neck anymore!!
Cathay--the cinema...
it looked like that of the grand cathay in Dhoby Ghout..

back to the show...
it was exciting and exhilarating...
much better than the previous instalment...
at least, the story line was better...
the previous show was an agony to watch...
however... from some reviews from friends...
THE BOOK IS STILL BETTER...
gotta read it before school starts...

anyway!!!
i've quitted my MOM job!!!
oh...
though i liked it...
but it gets frustrating and irritating in the end...
so..
i've QUITTED!!
better job luck next time i guess...

my job now is to rest well at home and chill as much as possible before school re-opens...
another round of hell treatment!!

alright...
i've lost around 8 kg up to date...
just by eating that diet...for a month only...
i could see really significant changes on my tummy, thighs, arm, esp face...
will put up my recent pics soon....
if anyone wants to slim down....
FIND ME!!!
i've got good recommendations...

anyway...
Ek will be going to Redang..*how to spell??!!!*
some place in M'sia..
where there are beaches and bikin-babes...
It will be his birthday this sat...
so!!!

i will be making him gifts...
his 21th birthday...
have to make something that he will remember for the rest of his life...

anyway..
i guess i've said enough...
will blog more often in the future...

await for my return!!!

I like my MOM job!

alrightie...

as you all might know, i am now wokring on this MOM's survey job for the whole of JULY...*probably..*
the survey has got something to do with the employment situation in Singapore..
it has been great fun doing this survey..
not the fun fun..
but the fun in which you see all sorts of people in your neighbourhood..
before, you might think that your neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet and friendly, without any threat..

THINK AGAIN..

it may not be as friendly and nice as you though it will be...
this surveyor job really showed me the flip side of the coin...
there are of course kind and considerate people, but there are also peeping-toms..
well, not exactly those i-want-to-peep-at-your-underwear's peeping toms..
but those who will look through the peephole at the door and watch you..

watch you getting frustrated at the door...
watch you waiting aimlessly at the door...
watch you ringing the door bell and knocking on the door...
watch you till you retreat from that house...
ya... many many watch-yous...

well.. there are also people who will slam their door at your face WITHOUT even looking at you..
or even.. keep rejecting you eventhough you are from the ministry...
smiling and smiling and smiling...
and...
*Pummp!!* door slammed...
all sorts of people...
interestingly... dejecting...
i am not trying to damn anything... but i am telling truths that i see when doing this job which is very crucial..

it not only trains your determination and willingness to finish the job..
it also trains your inter-personal skill as a presenter and conductor...
the way you talk can affect those doing the survey...
they can be cold and mean.. but if you show enough sincerity.. they can be very cooperative too..
by the way.. have a listening ear eventhough you may not know how to solve the problem...
the most important character-moulding factor is that... face your own music..
apologise even when it is not really your mistake..
TRAINS YOUR NERVES AND TOLERANT-METER..
very important..

i like this job..especially when we do Personal Visits to those surveyees' houses...
talking face to face is better than through the telephone...
i guess people can handle situations better when talking face to face...
at least we can see their reactions...

well, the best thing that i like about this job is that... if someone is not cooperative..
i can SLAM them with my foul words...*ermmm... under my breathe when i walk away la!!*
oh..
how i love it..
HAHA!

anyway..
i've got a long way to go...

persevere... and i will see light at the end of the tunnel...

Transformer!!

Went to MOM today to meet my supervisor for weekly update..
well, i guess i need to buck up..
my quota is behind schedule and i think they need it to be done asap..
anyway, when she went to zap some forms, the supervisor who supervises my supervisor asked me to go for a chit chatting session.
apparently, it was some random questions about the job and stuffs like that...
however, the chat somehow progressed into something that was very interesting for me and i think to some of you who are reading..

The Buddhist Library is organising a humanitarian relief work at Mynamar at the end of this year from 15 to 30 December.
They require 20 volunteers, from the age of 21 to 35, to go for this voluntary work.
However, this trip costs $900++.
BUT!!!
they are now trying to get fundings to subsidies the expenditure.
Apparently, i heard from her that it may be as low as $400++ per person.
for a good cost, $400++ is alright, right?!
i think it is something worth trying and experiencing.
it is not an everyday event that we can go to.
I know, many people might treat it as an vacation trip to another country, but with a good cost, aint it better??
anyway, this trip will be buddhist-based.
meaning to say...
there might be some forms of rituals that they will do when in Mynamar which applies in buddhist's context *not though Taoist rituals btw... very different ok..*
for example,
1) bowing to the monks when we see them
2) maybe chant some sutras
3) maybe go to temple for prayers etc
for those who dont mind, you are more than welcome to join in this event.
but for those who do mind, then i guess you guys have to check out for other similar events that excludes such forms of rituals..

anyway,
non-buddhists are also welcome *durh..*

there will be a briefing this Saturday(07072007) from 2 to 4 pm at the Buddhist Library at Aljunied.
i will be going because...
I WANT TO GO AND EXPERIENCE SOMETHING THAT I WILL NEVER WILL..

apparently, my parents were not supportive of my decision to go on this field trip.
it is not that they think it is bad, but they believe that i dont have to go to such a far and dangerous place to do voluntary work. There are many people in Singapore who needs help too.
Point noted!
but doing voluntary work overseas is something that doesnt come by every now and then. Voluntary work in Singapore can be done anytime!
Just do to some organisation and tell them that you wan to be a volunteer, they are more than happy to accept you.

Overseas humanitarian efforts dont come everyday.
It comes like opportunities.
If you dont catch it now, you never will know when you can the next flight.

anyway, i quarrelled with them regarding this issue.. i just cant believe that they dont allow me to go!

i guess i will have to convince them that i want to go even in the name of touring/playing.

argh!
this is killing me..

alright..enough about that..
i went to watch Transformer with Vanessa today..
guess what??!!
it was ...
1) EXCITING
2) ENGAGING
3) ENTERTAINING
4) EXORDINARY
5) ELECTRIFYING
6) EXHILARATING
7) ENTHRALLING
8) ENGROSSING
9) ENRAPTURING *meaning: delight beyong measure*
10 ) TOTALLY... WORTH THE BILLS!!!

my goodness...
the show was jam-packed with actions that had never existed in human's pink box...
every single second was a prelude to something more exciting, more awe-inspiring...
the story plot was simple.. far more simpler than you think..
but the actions, the animation or rather, was STUPENDOUS!!
it looked so real and convincing that at the point of watching that movie, you might think to yourself...
my good....ness...
IS THIS FOR REAL?!
it has been a long time since i have watched such a FANTASTIC and AWESOME show..
like what the movie critic, Tay Yek Keak, who writes for the Straits Times( Life section ) said..

" The movie in which the garbage fights back blows away the rest of the summer garbage showing now"

you guys should go and watch this show..
totally worth you time and money...
*the show is around 2 hours and 20 mins... super worth money...btw..rmb to wee-wee before watching the show.. you wouldnt want to miss a single second!!*

when the cars transform into their original form, they looked drop-dead...GOREGOUS..
though they were machines, but they looked SOOOOOO cool!!!

ah,...
if my Lamborghini can turn into something like them and talk to me...
I WILL BE SUPER OVER THE MOON!!!
*i dont have a Lamborghini yet... but i will get it when i becomes rich ok!!*

hero+righteous+cool== my idol!!

anyway...
enough for you guys to go catch the movie??!!
i might be watching it again..
tomorrow night probably...
anyway!!!

that's all for now...

PS: the writer is very witty and humorous.. you guys should read his reports in life... really hilarious and thoughful...
His article will be on Strait's time every monday and sometime on Sunday i think..
watch out for his merciless words...
kills..but funny...
