when was the last time i blogged??!!!
EONS AGO!!
anyway, life's good...BETTER than ever..*see the sarcasm there??!!*
i should put up my Pics there..in case some of you are missing me...*OHhh..*
by the way, many things happened for the past few weeks...
for example...
1) Quarrels with Eng Keat
2) Making new friends.. ie Clare baby
3) Trashings
4) Decision- making
etc etc etc..
talking about desicion making...
i wanted to go for this Work and Travel USA program organised by some external organisation..
however.. after long long long discussion with myself..
i've decide..
NOT TO GO..
reason because..
this program would actually take place next year during the long vacation..
we would have to work for 2 to 2.5 months..after that, 30 days to travel in States..
this would be around 3 months to 3.5 months..
that means i would have to leave Singapore on May and be back by Mid-August..
which means to say..
i will have to miss SCHOOL...
miss my piano diploma exam...
miss piano lessons with my students...
miss my family...
miss Eng Keat *eventhou ek agreed to go with me*
and most of all...
miss SO MANY 21ST BIRTHDAYS!!!!
nonononono!!
bad decision!!
SO..YA...
i wouldnt be going...
however!!!
i will consider going on this trip after my 3rd year..
*cross finger that i can move up to 4th yr just to have more experience..*
anyway!!
yeah!!
birthday parties will STILL be on NEXT YEAR!!!
yeah!
anyway.. this work and travel program is not free.. i have to fork out $3000-$4000 to work there as some cleaner of the amusement park..
or chamber maid
or kitchen helper
or nature park tour-guide*something to that extend*
or..ya..basically something like that..
sounds ridiculous right??
but people like me are willing to go..
all because we are going out of our comfort zone to view the cruel and merciless world...
something that we have yet to experience...
i wonder how it feels like to be the minority..
i wonder how it feels like to be ordered around..
i wonder how it feels like to live in a foregin land..
i wonder how it feels like to be out of the frame that we are always in..
i wonder..
it is not that we dont get to see or feel when we are in Singapore..
but in any case, we could still have a home to seek solace, to complain and to lament...
out there, we are on our own..
young, youthful, ambitious, fun-loving, adventurous...
lonely...
we dont get that here!!

anyway...
too much writing..i guess i just like to explore things that are out of my comfort zone..
not everything..but some things are worth the risk and attention...

PS: i wanted to go to National Yellowstone Park for my work experience..but i guess it can wait till i am done with year 3!!
